🙌🏻 DIY Letter V from Dried 🌸Flowers 🎥 (Montessori Language)

To honor May 9th Victory Day, we are making letter "V" for Victory, using dried flowers. "Education is a natural process carried out by the child and is not acquired by listening to words, but by experiences in the environment” Maria Montessori. And today, Adrian is learning the letter V hands-on, by "making" it!  

What you need:

• a tray to define and contain an activity (buy here);
• letter template printed or written on colored cardstock. According to Montessori Language curriculum, pink color represents a consonant letter, while blue color represents a vowel, so I am using pink cardstock (buy here);
• glue (buy here);
• any nature objects a child might want to use to make a letter. We are using dried flowers: you can use however needles, twigs, pebbles, grass, moss, sand and so forth.

This activity offered Adrian an opportunity to be creative while learning the shape of the letter. He also practiced his fine-motor skills while using tongs to transfer flowers to a fresh glue of the letter template.
