Water Transferring Activity using a Baster
02/19/2016
Today, we are continuing with the Water Activity Series by using a baster. You would need an apron, a tray with two bowls (one of which is filled with water). A child would use a baster to transfer water from one bowl to another.
... And, he gets to practice his gross motor skills - it takes a lot of squeezing to get all the air out of the baster in order to fill it back with water all the way to the top!
The cycle of the activity is complete - the dish is empty.
meticulously cleaning up the spills until the tray is completely dry ...
After trying the baster, Adrian improvised and added few other transferring tools (medicine spoon, dropper, and a smaller baster).
Wait, let's add some color to the water!
Water being stained made it more visually appealing, as he could readily see the effect and progress of his work.
